Role

As a key member of the Platform/Infrastructure team, the Platform Engineer will play a critical role in building and maintaining the foundation for our company’s software. With rapid growth and new clients joining every day, our infrastructure’s security, reliability, and traceability are paramount. Areas of responsibility will include:

• Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Expand and enhance our platform to support various cloud services and providers
• Quickly respond to and resolve issues
• Work with development teams to streamline and improve our software deployment process

Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud based infrastructure (GCP, AWS, and/or Azure)
  • Terraform or Pulumi
• 5+ years of experience in containerizing software, deployment, and container orchestration
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Experience with languages such as
  • Go, Python, C#, Bash, etc.
• Highly effective at communicating complex technical ideas
• Available for on-call rotation to support emergencies 24/7
• Relentless, self-driven learner – to get things done the right way
• Strong opinions about the right way, expressed effectively and diplomatically
• Interested in the truth, not in winning debates
