under the hood at zeroeyes

ZeroEyes Gun Detection Technology

ZeroEyes software analyzes over 36,000 images per second from client video feeds. If a suspected firearm is detected, the image is forwarded to the ZeroEyes Operation Center (ZOC), where a trained specialist confirms whether a firearm is present. We use real-world datasets to train our software’s artificial intelligence (AI) to identify guns found on digital security cameras. Our AI is trained to only detect guns and is incapable of facial recognition, voice recording, or other invasive measures.

About our AI video technology

Existing video feed

ZeroEyes connects to existing security cameras and monitors streaming video feeds for firearms. The AI image classification system processes thousands of images per second and immediately notifies trained personnel in the ZeroEyes Operation Center if an image appears to contain a firearm.

ZeroEyes AI

We use real-world datasets to train our software’s artificial intelligence (AI) to identify guns found on digital security cameras. Our AI is taught only to detect guns and is incapable of facial recognition, voice recording, or other invasive measures.

Software Applications

Administrators and onsite SROs (security resource officers) have the convenience and portability of our mobile application, while 911 dispatch centers use our web-based application to support law enforcement and first responders.

Programmatic

Depending on the needs of each unique location, the software and alerts can be programmed to send information to specific individuals or groups at large. Clients can also customize the frequency and appearance of such alerts.

better tech - better customer experience

01

Detect Guns - Not People

ZeroEyes is neither invasive nor facial or acoustic recognition technology, unlike other security solutions. We’ve mastered our A.I. technology solely for object detection (in our case, any make or model of gun), eliminating potential privacy concerns, and identifying real firearm threats with greater accuracy than other security options.

02

Reduced False Alarms

Human verification and the military experience of our monitoring personnel are key components of our solution. Our team monitors every detection 24/7/365, and once a threat is verified, it notifies appropriate security personnel and first responders in as fast as 3–5 seconds to help reduce response times and save lives.

03

ZeroEyes Tech Lab

Our state-of-the-art, experimental A.I. technology lab is a 3,000 sq. ft. facility and workspace equipped with 22 active security cameras and full cyclorama green screen coverage to simulate our clients’ live sites. The space allows us to generate unparalleled data, perform live demos, and test our A.I. gun detection models and hardware in any environment.
