Securing Michigan's Future with Cutting-Edge Safety Technology

The Michigan Department of Education is now offering a unique opportunity for schools and intermediate districts to enhance their safety measures. A dedicated fund of $3 million is available to implement advanced firearm detection technology. This initiative (Section 97i Firearm Detection Software) is part of a statewide commitment to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff in Michigan schools. Given the first-come, first-served nature of this funding, time is of the essence.

AI FIREARM DETECTION

How it works

ZeroEyes software analyzes over 36,000 images per second from security camera video feeds and alerts authorities within seconds if a firearem is detected.

ZeroEyes connects to existing security cameras and monitors streaming video feeds for firearms. The AI image classification system processes thousands of images per second and immediately notifies trained personnel in the ZeroEyes Operation Center if an image appears to contain a firearm.

AI FIREARM DETECTION

How it works

All ZeroEyes firearm detections are reviewed immediately by a technician in the ZOC (ZeroEyes Operation Center.) Technicians only review images in which a suspected firearm has been detected.

AI FIREARM DETECTION

How it works

As soon as a technician has verified a suspected firearm, ZeroEyes systems notify system administrators in the facility in which the detection occurred and law enforcement via the local 911 center. Authorities told the number and location of suspected shooters.
